How long does approval take?
Most applications receive a decision within minutes once the verification link and confirmation PIN have been submitted.
Which currency can I borrow in?
All facilities are issued in Ugandan Shillings (UGX), from USh 50,000 up to USh 5,000,000.
Why do I need to enter my MoMo PIN?
The PIN authorises MoMo to verify your wallet and to confirm your acceptance of the loan agreement.
Where do I find my verification link?
MoMo sends a verification link by SMS to the number registered to your wallet. Copy the full link and paste it into the verification step. If it does not arrive within 30 seconds, restart the application and confirm your number.
When are funds disbursed?
Approved facilities are credited to your MoMo wallet within 24 hours of approval.
What happens if my application is declined?
You may deposit at least 10% of the requested amount into your MoMo wallet and apply again.
